For Vendors Listing Services on The Coupons Platform

Welcome to The Coupons! These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our platform for vendors listing and selling their services through discount coupons.

This Agreement complies with British Columbia laws, including the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (BPCPA) and Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

1. Definitions

1.1

Vendor: Any business entity or individual providing services or goods through the Platform

1.2

Platform: The Coupons online e-commerce portal, owned and operated by the Company

1.3

Customer: Any individual or business purchasing services or goods from the Vendor via the Platform

2. Vendor Eligibility

2.1

The Vendor must: Be a legally registered business in British Columbia or elsewhere in Canada, provide valid business identification including GST/HST registration (if applicable), and comply with all applicable laws.

2.2

The Company reserves the right to verify the Vendor's credentials and refuse or terminate any Vendor who fails to meet eligibility requirements.

3. Vendor Responsibilities

3.1 Accuracy

The Vendor must provide accurate and up-to-date information about their services, pricing, and terms. Any changes must be promptly updated on the Platform.

3.2 Service

Vendors must honor all bookings, discounts, and offers advertised on the Platform. Services must meet quality standards and be delivered in a timely manner.

3.3 Compliance

Vendors must comply with all federal, provincial, and municipal laws, including consumer protection and privacy laws.

3.4 Taxes

Vendors are solely responsible for calculating, collecting, and remitting all applicable taxes (e.g., GST/HST).

4. Fees and Payment

4.1 Commission

The Company will retain a commission on all transactions completed through the Platform. The rate will be communicated in advance.

4.2 Payment Terms

Payments to Vendors (net of commission) will be disbursed on a regular basis to the Vendor's designated account.

4.3 Refunds

If a refund or chargeback is issued to a Customer, the Company may deduct the refunded amount from the Vendor's future payouts.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Pricing

The price of each coupon is displayed on the Platform and is inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

5.2 Payment Methods

Customers must pay for coupons using approved payment methods (e.g., credit/debit cards, PayPal). Payment is processed securely through a third-party payment gateway.

5.3 Refunds

Refund requests must be submitted within [7/14] days of purchase. Refunds will only be granted if the coupon has not been redeemed and if the request complies with the Company’s Refund Policy. Refunds may not apply to certain promotional or limited time offers.

5.4 Chargebacks

Customers must contact the Company to resolve disputes before initiating a chargeback. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension or termination.

6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1 Accurate Information

Customers must provide truthful and accurate information during registration and coupon redemption.

6.2 Compliance with Laws

Customers must use the Platform and coupons in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in British Columbia.

6.3 Respectful Behavior

Customers must engage respectfully with Vendors and the Company. Abusive or fraudulent behavior may result in account suspension.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Platform Functionality

The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform and is not liable for technical issues or outages.

7.2 Vendor Services

The Company is not liable for any damages, losses, or dissatisfaction arising from Vendor services or goods. Any disputes related to services or goods must be resolved directly with the Vendor.

7.3 Indemnification

Customers agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless against any claims arising from their misuse of the Platform or coupons.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1

The Company will handle Customer data in compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and its Privacy Policy.

8.2

Customers agree to the collection, use, and storage of their data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

9. Modifications to Terms

9.1

The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions with 30 days’ notice.

9.2

Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia.

10.2

Any disputes shall first be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may proceed to mediation or arbitration in British Columbia.

12. Entire Agreement

12.1

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and the Company regarding the use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements.
